Bleeding After Miscarriage

Thursday, January 7th, 2010

There are no precise numbers and descriptions of what will happen in every case after a miscarriage. Every situation is different, depending on how far the pregnancy was and how each body handles it. But there are still some general guidelines that can give you an idea about what to expect.

What happens after a miscarriage?

Whether you have a D&C or a natural miscarriage, you may experience mild menstrual-like cramps afterward for a couple of days and light bleeding for a week or two.

  • Use pads instead of tampons
  • You can take acetaminophen or ibuprophen to ease the cramps pain
  • Avoid sex, swimming, douching and using vaginal medications for at least a week or two and until the bleeding stops.

We recommend that you use the Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins because of their:

  • high absorbency
  • anti-bacterial and deodorization functions
  • special bottom layer which allows air flow, prevents irritation and helps you feel comfortable.

How much bleeding should I expect after miscarriage?

The bleeding associated with a miscarriage can be heavy with large clots without meaning a medical emergency. But if you are soaking a sanitary pad in an hour, have any signs of infection (fever, achiness, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge) or feel excessive pain, call your practitioner immediately or go to the emergency room.

How long does bleeding last after miscarriage?

The duration of bleeding associated with a miscarriage is different for every woman, but the bleeding should not remain heavy for more than a few days and should stop within about two weeks in most cases. If you have had bleeding heavier than an average menstrual period for more than two or three days, it is a good idea to see your doctor to rule out complications.

Our First Winalite Year Overview

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

I cannot believe it’s almost Christmas! Where did this year go?! And now, that we are getting to the end of it, it is a good time to take a moment and look back to evaluate things.

We started working with the Winalite at the beginning of this year. We were very excited to see the great results of our experiments and wanted to share them with everybody. Few people have heard of the Anion Sanitary Napkins at that time.

Now, almost a year later, the Winalite has sperad a lot, not only in the US, but also to many other countries and more and more people are using it. In February and March we were showing people what the Anion Sanitary Napkins can do for them. Now, we have many testimonies of what the Anion Sanitary Napkins did for women. These pads are no longer only a new great product, but also something that has been tried and works!

Women who have been using the Winalite pads for more months now report the following:

  • lighter and shorter periods
  • no cramping
  • no odor
  • no worry :)

One of my friends who has an ovarian cyst used to be in terrible pain when she was having her periods. That is all gone since she is using the Anion Sanitary Napkins. Many other women who used to have very bad cramps tell us how grateful they are to have found these pads which give them great relief from menstrual cramps.

I’ve just browsed through my previous posts, looked at the videos and pictures and read some of the articles. It’s a great satisfaction to be able to look back and see that the things you believed in really work! This was definitely a good year for our Winalite team. We hope it was the same for you and we wish you an even better one!

Happy Holidays!

Answering Winalite Objections

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

A while ago Kristy left a comment on this blog. Since it is pretty long, instead of approving it as a comment, I thought it would be better to make it a blog post. And we also wrote a reply to her comment, that you can find below.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and we are always glad to answer your questions.

Here is Kristy’s comment:

I tried this sanitary pad and I have to tell you that is the biggest scam on earth!
I can understand the poor guys trying to demostrate this business, because men don’t have a clue about what menstruation really is and have never experienced that every month, but women that are getting part of this is a shame, because you know that all these claims are exagerated, there is no such thing that you get irritation or feel confortable every time you have a period and relate that to a sanitary pad. You guys has been brainwashed to all this hocus pocus, unbelievable, the ultimate motive is the money, you guys are so desperate joining this company with the promise to make millions, don’t you see the scam?

Why is it that you guys have to present such a scientific demonstration, breathbility of a sanitary pad, absorvency and all that to get people to buy your product? If it is as good as you proclaim, it should not be a problem to sell that to the public, we are no stupid, we get it, but don’t you think this maybe a red flag for a person with a little bit of inteligence? People wake up!!!

So now we have this fantastic product from this company coming from China, with this amazing sanitary pad, the anionic one.

How do you know that this strip that you can were between your crocth is the miracle thing that is going to liberate all of us from bacteria, cancer, bad blood flow and you name it, tell me please, how do you know if this piece of strip is what this company claim to be, do you have scientific evidence that really can prove about all this bullshit about negative ions???

The chinese know what they are doing, they know that here in America, we are in total bankcruptcy, people are so desperate to make money and they don’t think, they are easily taken advantage of, and they have created this scam, let’s put this little strip in the sanitary pads, and sell this that this is the miracle thing that will cure all women diseases, and bingo, here is the way to make billions. Please, people, don’t you see it????? Wake up, don’t be fools.

How do you know that everything that this company is claiming is the truth? Because they has said so? How do you know that this company has made all the millions that they claim has made? How do you know that this company is really in all those countries that they are claiming to be in? How do you know is this new technology is really real??? How do you know????

You guys has been brainwashed and are brainwashing people, you have an amzing marketing that sound pretty beleivable at first, until you start reading and listening to the stupid testimonials and all the scientific data that has been totally twisted, right there is when you start to see the scam.

The marketing plan is a joke, do you guys really think that are going to make all the millions that this plan promise to pay??? Think about it, do you think you guys are going to get paid every week the same amount of money or who know more??? It looks nice on paper the reality is other. People are not going to buy tons of boxes every week, if they buy will be just the requirement per month, and wait for the next because they have no other choice, but think about it, once you get paid, if you get paid, what is going to happen with the rest of the month???
Don’t you think this is a little misleading???
Why is it that people have to wait five weeks to get paid for the production of a particular week???

The reason I am mentioning all this is, nobody was talking about sanitary pads that could breath or has anionic power or who know what until this company came with this amazing scam, now everybody are repeating the same nonsense, obviously you can see the degree of intelligence of each one, the ignorance, they can’t see they are getting scruwed so bad, money definite rules.

I am exposing all this because I had to try it to see how good this pad was, and it took me 10 minutes to figure this out, the product is the worst I have ever tried in my life, it is not true about all the claims that they are telling people, it is a normal sanitary pad but worst than what we have here in America, because it is just a piece of cotton, or napkin folded, no absorvency at all, it stained my underware and I have never has been so paranoic and insecure that I was going to stain my clothes which really happened.

One thing is doing the demostration with water, another thing is doing the demostration with real blood from mestruation, now I will tell you what you really will get.

You guys are scamming people and sooner than later will be shut down by the attorney general, count on that.

And here is our reply:

Hello Kristy,

Thank you for your comments.  You obviously spent a lot of time writing them out.  I have read them all and would like to reply to your issues individually.  Hopefully you will give us the courtesy to read our reply with the same thought as we did yours.

Firstly, you mention that you knew in 10 minutes that the pad didn’t work.  Most of the women who use the pads see the results from the Anions after using them for at least one full cycle and sometimes two, so it is understandable that you may not have experienced this.

While  it is true that a man cannot experience what a woman does with her cycle, it isn’t true that he can’t understand it.  As a matter of fact, by selling the Winalite pads, many men have come to understand much better what a woman goes through.

I would also have to disagree about showing the demonstration of how the pad works as being unnecessary.  Even the largest companies that sell pads and even diapers use this demonstration to sell their products.

As to the claims, nobody should be making any medical claims about the Anion strip.  If this is being done, I will agree with you that it is not right.  Unfortunately, there are people that become overly excited about a product and will make claims that they shouldn’t.  The company does not endorse these claims.

I do not know that they are in all of the countries they claim, but I do know that they are in some as I have built my business in some of those countries. I have distributors that I work with in 4 countries so far.

The questions you have about the marketing plan are fairly easy to answer.  First of all, anybody claiming that everyone is going to make millions is obviously not being realistic and the company does not suggest this.  As far as getting paid weekly, the amount will always be different and not everyone buys at the same time of the month so you will get paid on different people on different weeks.  Also, some people buy more than one case.  I myself do this as I also sell the packages individually retail to customers.  I have many retail customers who are repeat customers.  To me this is the best proof that the product works.  Nobody would buy this product month after month if it didn’t work.  Would you?

I’m sorry about the experience you had with the pad.  It sounds like you tried one and then didn’t use them again.  I’m not sure why you had the experience you had, but I can only relate to you what we have been told by the people we have personally talked to.

These are the comments that we have heard first hand.  One of our employees daughter and wife use the product and neither have seen cramping and headaches that they usually get during their cycles.  Also, they have seen their cycles grow shorter since using the pads.  Another employee and her daughter both use the pads and have had similar experiences.  We hear this type of experience from women all the time.  If these products were not as effective as we claim, nobody would buy them more than once.  Almost every woman that has ordered these pads has reordered.  To me, that is the best testimonial we have for the effectiveness of this product.

Again, thank you for your time and if you’d like to try the pads again, let me know and I’ll send you some for free.

Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins Testimony

Monday, September 28th, 2009

We have just received a testimony from Nina, who has been using the Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins every day for three months now and she is very excited about the results. We have heard similar stories from other women who are using the Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins, so this testimony doesn’t come as a surprise. We are glad to hear from our customers that these pads are making a huge difference for them and they are very happy with the Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins.

After three months of wearing the pantyliners everyday, I have gone through two complete cycles.  I should be starting my third cycle any day, I hope.  I had about 2 minutes of cramping a few days ago and about 4 hours of extremely light discharge. Either I am pregnant or these pads are the most amazing things known to women! By the way, I’m not pregnant, so…. I have gone from 4-5 days of very heavy flow with 3-4 hours of cramping, to basically nothing… OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!! How happy am I!!!!!!
Not short but its what i want to say…                                                                          Nina

How Can I Shorten My Period?

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

Have you ever typed this question into Google? I did this just now and it pops up on tons of pages! Lots of girls are asking this question. Here is an example:

“Can you possibly lighten/ shorten your period?

Hey guys!

I have to admit this post is almost out of desperation because I am very sick at the moment, just got my period, and have a party to go to tomorrow night. I got it out of the blue, because it never comes on time… maybe once or twice a year. This makes it hard for me to predict how long/heavy it is but usually, when I do actually get it, its horrid. I’ll probably spend most of my time in the bathroom rather than at the party. Even when I take ibprofen I still feel like my uterus is being ripped out *sigh*. I was just wondering, even though I know it’s kind of a silly question, is it possible to lighten or shorten my period without hbc? Thank you guys so much.”

Can you do anything to shorten your period? This question seems to be on every woman’s mind.

Some months ago, when I first tried the Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins from Winalite I was pretty much surprised to experience a very short and light period. I was not told the pad could have this effect, so I thought it was a coincidence. But then same thing happened next month when I used the Anion pad. I also heard many other women who use the Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins are experiencing lighter and shorter periods.

I should add that this doesn’t seem to work for everybody though. Even if many women testify to having lighter and shorter periods when using this pad, it is not guaranteed to do this for everybody. But if you are really interested in shortening your periods and feeling much more comfortable during that time, you could at least try it and see if it works for you. There’s nothing to lose.

You can get some Anion pads by ordering them over the phone or over the Internet from WellnessPartners.

Let us know what you think of them and if they have shortened your period.

Wishing you all the best!

My First Period -Find Answers to Your Questions (2)

Friday, July 31st, 2009

The first period is an important event in a girl’s life and part of the normal process of becoming an adult. While some girls can’t wait for their first period to come, others may dread it, not knowing what to expect and feeling shy or embarrassed to ask questions.

As I have promised in my previous post, I will continue answering girls’ questions about the first period.

  • Can I Play Sports or Be Involved in Other Activities During My Period?

Of course you can! Your period should not affect your daily activities. You can continue to exercise, swim, bike ride, and have fun. Some girls and women even find that exercising while they are having their menstrual period reduces or prevents stomach cramps and discomfort. During these activities, it is important to use high quality sanitary pads, like Love Moon Anion Sanitary Napkins, so as to prevent spotting and discomfort. You can also use tampons, which come handy especially when you are involved in activities like swimming.

  • How do I know which feminine care products are best for me?

There are many products on the market and there is a variety of products to choose from, according to your needs. It is best to talk openly to your mother, school nurse or another adult you trust and who can help you make a good choice. To learn more detailed information about how to choose a sanitary napkins, here is a great page I recommend: FreeSanitaryNapkins.com

  • How do I know if I need to see a doctor about my period?

You should consult your doctor:

  • if you are bleeding for more than 7 days
  • if you are bleeding excessively
  • if you suddenly feel sick after using tampons
  • if you have unbearable pain during your period
  • if you bleed between periods (more than just a few drops)
  • if your period has suddenly stopped
  • if you have not started menstruating by the age of 16.

If you have any specific questions that have not been answered in this post, please feel free to write them in the comments section.

My First Period -Find Answers to Your Questions

Monday, July 20th, 2009

The first period (also referred to as menstruation) is an important event in a girl’s life and part of the normal process of becoming an adult. While some girls can’t wait for their first period to come, others may dread it, not knowing what to expect and feeling shy or embarrassed to ask questions.

We have put together some frequently asked questions and their answers, so as to help all girls understand this event better and be prepared and feel comfortable about it.

  • When will I have my first period?

No one can tell you exactly when. Each person has their own biorhythm. Most girls start their periods between the ages of 9 and 16. There really isn’t any way you can tell the exact day you’ll get your first period, but there are some signs that can tell you are getting close.

  • What are the signs before the first period?

About 1 year after their breasts have started to grow, most girls will go through a stage of rapid growth. Most girls get their first period in about 2 years after their breasts have started growing and very soon after hair starts growing underarms and in the pubic area. Vaginal discharge is also a clue that you are about to have your first period.

  • What are menstrual cramps?

Menstrual cramps are caused by the normal contractions of the uterus and can be often experienced, especially by young women. To read some tips on how to relieve menstrual cramps, read this post: Tips on How to Relieve Menstrual Cramps.

  • How often will I have my period?

You may have heard some women talking about their monthly cycle. This cycle begins on the first day of one period and ends on first day of the next period. While women’s periods do tend to come about once per month, there is a wide range in the length of menstrual cycle from woman to woman. Some women’s periods come as often as every 21 days, some as far apart as every 40 days. The most common range is 25-30 days. Especially during the first years, the length of your cycle may vary from month to month, but it tends to become regular in time. Some women have regular cycles and their periods start exactly the same number of days apart each time. It is a good idea to have a calender where you mark the first day of your period every time. This way, you will be able to observe your cycle, to notice if there is a pattern forming and you will be able to estimate better when to expect your next period.

There are still many questions to be answered about your first period and I will continue writing about that in my next post. Till then, if you have any questions, please feel free to write them in the comments section.

My First Gynecologist Visit

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Having someone examine your genitals is definitely not a pleasant idea, especially if you have never gone through this before. It is not hard to understand why most girls are scared of their first visit to a gynecologist. It is absolutely legitimate to ask questions like: “Do I really need to get an appointment?”, “Why?”, “What happens at a visit?” I will briefly try to answer these questions here.

Why do I need to see a gynecologist?

All women should tend to their reproductive health as part of their normal preventive healthcare, just like everyone should go to the dentist once a year and their general doctor for a yearly checkup. Think of this visit as a routine medical exam. This will help you feel better about it. If it makes you more comfortable, you can have your mom, sister, or a friend stay in the room with you during the exam.

A Pap test and pelvic exam are important parts of a woman’s routine health care because they can detect abnormalities that may lead to cervix cancer. These abnormalities can be treated before cancer develops.

Besides finding problems early so they can be treated or kept from getting worse, your doctor will also help you understand your body and how it works, how to take good care of it and protect yourself from sexually transmitted infections.

When do I need to see a gynecologist?

You should get an appointment if you:

  • have ever had sex.
  • are 21 or older.
  • have abdominal pain, irregular or painful menstrual periods, or vaginal discharge.

What happens at a visit?

Part of your first visit will be just talk, so you can get to know each other. Your doctor may ask a lot of questions about you and your family. You can also ask the doctor any questions you have. It is a good idea to put down some questions before your visit, so that you don’t forget them because of being nervous. You can talk to your doctor about cramps and problem periods, acne, weight issues, sexually transmitted infections and any other concerns you have. Don’t feel embarrassed to ask. Take advantage of this time to get good answers to your questions.

Your doctor will check your height, weight and blood pressure. He or she may also do the following exams:

  • Breast exam –your doctor will check your breasts to make sure you don’t have strange lumps or pain.
  • Pelvic exam –The doctor will examine your pelvic area to make sure your reproductive organs are healthy.
  • Pap test –This test is done to make sure the cells in your cervix are normal. If you are sexually active, it is especially important to have a Pap test. The Pap test helps the doctor know if more tests are needed to see if you are infected with the HP virus. Left untreated, this virus can lead to cervical cancer.

So, a visit to the gynecologist is a necessary part of keeping yourself healthy as a woman, and your gynecologist can turn out to be a great source of honest, accurate sexual information for you for years to come.

Tips on How to Relieve Menstrual Cramps

Monday, June 15th, 2009

Most women have experienced some degree of menstrual cramps at some point. But while for the lucky ones the pain is mild and not very long lasting, others find themselves unable to perform their normal routine for one to three days each month because of the severe menstrual pain (also called dysmenorrheal) that they experience.

Dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) can be:

  1. Primary – occurs most often in young women and often becomes less severe after a woman has given birth or when she reaches her mid-twenties.
  2. Secondary –when menstrual cramps are caused by other conditions, such as endometriosis, fibroid tumors, pelvic adhesions, ovarian cysts or by the use of and IUD (intrauterine device) for birth control.

Menstrual cramps are caused by the normal contractions of the uterus, which are, in their turn, caused by prostaglandis, a hormone-like naturally occurring substance.

Tips on how to relieve menstrual cramps:

  • Over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen or naproxen used at the first sign of your period help reduce the severity of the cramps by inhibiting the release of prostaglandis.
  • Regular exercise helps prevent severe menstrual cramps.
  • Zinc, calcium and B vitamins have been found to reduce cramps, bloating and other symptoms.
  • Some herbal remedies that may reduce menstrual cramps due to their antispasmodic effect include Viburnum Prunifolium, Scutellaria Spp. And Cimicifuga Raemosa.
  • Take a warm bath filled with aromatherapy or place a heating pad on your lower abdomen and back.

Tampons or Pads?

Tuesday, May 5th, 2009

Once you’ve tried a tampon, you don’t want to use pads again. When wearing a tampon you can almost forget that it’s one of those days. Tampons are comfortable, discrete and much more practical than pads when you do sports. With tampons at hand, you won’t have to worry again about plans of doing some activities being ruined just because you are having your period. Another good thing about tampons is that they save you of the bad smell.

But is using tampons also healthy? The most serious risk about using tampons is toxic shock syndrome (TSS), a rare but very dangerous illness. While with your pad you can see when it is time to change it, it is not the same with a tampon. When using a tampon, you will have to remember to change it every four to six hours. Leaving one in too long, like all day or all night, can cause TSS.

Many women tend to use the most absorbent tampon thinking that this way they won’t have to change it as often. But when you keep a tampon in too long, bacteria can grow. If tampons are kept in for a long time, that gives the bacteria plenty of time to grow. These bacteria can grow within the tampon, enter the body from inside the vagina, then invade the bloodstream, releasing toxins that can cause a very severe, and occasionally life-threatening illness –TSS.

Symptoms of TSS include high fever, vomiting or diarrhea, severe muscle aches, a feeling of extreme weakness or dizziness, and a rash that looks like a sunburn. If you ever have these symptoms while wearing a tampon, remove it and go to the nearest emergency department as soon as possible.

So, while tampons can be most useful in some cases, doctors recommend that they be used alternatively with pads in order to prevent TSS. Or, even better, use high quality pads that can offer you high protection and comfort without putting your health at risk.

Anion Love Moon Sanitary Napkins produced by Winalite are made of best quality materials, they provide high absorbency and disease protection. They have a special unique layer of negative ions, which helps eliminate odor, diminish inflammation, relieve fatigue and improve immunity. Anion Sanitary Napkins allow air flow and they are very comfortable.

In conclusion, consider using Anion Sanitary Napkins for your best comfort and health.
